The Living Guide · About the community

A town that gathers.

Painters, surfers, farmers, fishermen, chefs and musicians — and a calendar that brings them together. From the Festival del Arte in February to the WSL at Cerritos and GastroVino in December, these are the events that make Todos Santos, El Pescadero and Cerritos a community rather than a destination.

Tropic of Cancer Music & Arts Festival

January 13–17, 2027

Every January, musicians who split their lives between Nashville and Todos Santos host what they call an annual pilgrimage: five days of concerts in small rooms and courtyards around town, where "the audience and the artist blend as one." Founded by the band The Cordovas, it now brings more than fifty artists — from Peruvian cumbia to Nortec to soul — and gives back to the Bomberos Voluntarios de Todos Santos.

Festival del Arte Todos Santos

Early February, every year

The town's oldest celebration of itself. Organised by citizens "for the whole community" and timed to the anniversary of the Teatro General Manuel Márquez de León, it turns the centre into an art fair with dance, concerts, aerial acrobatics and an open mic — the 28th edition ran February 5–9, 2025. It is when the galleries stay open late and the plaza fills.
